In underground molehills of the Fortress, artists, obsessed with muses create (un)known works of art. Firmly locked, like the Second Powder Magazine on the Upper Fortress – dedicated to Saint Elizabeth - was locked in times of peace, and imprisoned by their own artistic strategy, in the silence of the thick walls that equals to inexistence of any sound, aware of the smell of gun powder that faded away long ago, they float above Petrovaradin's Gibraltar, dreaming, enthralled by the strange song of silence. Aware of the Elevated Spirituality which makes the new millennium persevere, and the old one not to disappear, Dragoljub Adžić could not resist his impression to compare his feelings metaphorically with the magnificent Olympus; exactly here, on this Pannonian hill, relieved from the smell of gun powder, smoke and ashes, he hopes that Pandora's Box is closed, giving up its place to new spiritual strategists. Was the divine gift of art born exactly here, on Apollonian heights, in the full rise of the third millennium? Or is it the divine gift to the Serbian Athens, above which it stands, erect as a winner in its full spirituality? You should simply take that gift, Dragoljub was sure, and jealously protect it against Mercurial merchants' greed, or otherwise – Pandora's box stands and waits for you on the crossroads! Other people have already confirmed, if they can be believed: the strategic power of the Fortress is no more heralded by firing artillery salutes, which are heard only as a secret echo in the long nights of full Moon – its power today is of spiritual nature…
