Painter, Graphic artist
Born in Novi Sad on 25 February 1950.
He studied at the Secondary School of Civil Engineering and the Advanced School of Pedagogy (Visual Arts Department) in Novi Sad. He learned the technique of screen printing at Nach's graphic design studio in Brussels (1972). Worked as a teacher, graphic designer, technical and art editor. Lately, he has mostly been practising Web-design and digital arts.
Member of UPIDIV since 1975.
He took part in a number of national and international group exhibitions organized by different artistic associations. There have been 6 one-man shows of his in Novi Sad.
J. Bob has received several awards.

| Those who search for the earthly treasure usually go to caves or under the ground, and they often find themselves in the casemates and underground corridors of the Fortress. However, they are not important; their Road ends at the moment they find gold or diamonds, and at the same moment, they leave the Grand Story. Those, however, who search for spiritual treasure, are something quite different! It is known that, early in the morning, they used to take place in the Customs House, the storeyed building in front of the Šajkaši gunboat fleet Headquarters. At that hour of the day, all the coachmen and passengers with large baggage had to pass, if they wanted to cross the bridge. While the clerks were collecting customs duty, the Searchers kept appropriating the travellers with all of their knowledge, wishes and feelings, spreading in this way a universal Web. The Web spreading its treads through time, should help Jovan Bob, one of the virtuous Searchers, to arrive at the centre of the enlightenment and, at the same time, to help all the people find their own real natures. |
