Graphic artist

Born on 24 October 1978 in Novi Sad.
Finished primary school and Secondary Art School "Bogdan Šuput" in Novi Sad. In June 1997, the UPIDIV awarded him a diploma for the best work at final exhibition. Currently, he is about to graduate from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad (Graphic Arts Dept.). Participant in several group exhibitions of his fellow-students.

If we eliminate all unnecessary life absorbents, there will remain only one worthwhile: Art. Palpability is not the only method of providing evidence. What Vlada Dimovski wants to prove is that in some cases the greatness on an artist is not directly proportional to the number of his works. With some artist, the master work even does not exist -  it may have remained hidden inside them. The creative urge in an artist is the most precious thing he possesses. But how to control the urge? If an artist follows the flow of his thoughts – he does not have to write it down. If he sees a beauty – he does not have to paint it. The urge to record the experience, to share it with others, to protect it from oblivion, or very often, all at the same time, it is impatience. Why don't we only take a deep breath, witness the moment and go on... Ecstasy! – The ecstasy itself may be a piece of art. In addition, the greatest samurai may be the one who has never drawn a sword. Oh, everything is so complicated. They say "product"?! Do we really need all that postproduction and, later, accompanying marketing? Often, it is exactly marketing we are very good at, actually, real masters. Product is the measure of everything, in art as well, and to our regret, it is the most common measure. In modern world, products oversupply, resulting in a loss of sensitivity even among artists. That is the reason, believes Vlada Dimovski, why multimedia and intermedia art was born. He finds it to be the most valuable because it does not require and does not allow people to "possess" a work of art, to buy it and unconsciously treat it as a product. We cannot possess it, just as we cannot possess a moment in time... It requires only presence, the presence of an audience. Like anything else, and always so.
