It is not true that the Fortress is only an External sight of the walls, watchtowers, and the sky above the stone building. In bygone times, the Fortress was inhabited by people who knew how to laugh, to make love, to fight and to die. It is their shapes that are built into the shapes of the walls, and their fluid is still there. You should feel it, find it and be capable of seeing it. For, life on the Fortress acts like a Dragon: it has the ability to take different shapes, and still remain beyond our understanding. If we wish, it can be both visible and invisible. In spring, it can ascend to the sky, and in autumn, it can submerge in the depths of the Danube. Shape hunters know how to stretch the net over the whole Fortress and hunt them. They usually catch exactly what they want to. A Shape Hunter, Ratko Gikić, goes even further: he stretches his Shape-hunting nets not only in space, but also in time. In this way, whenever he wantedt, he could find in his net the Shapes – of birds, of women or of bulls – which do not belong to our time or space: they now belong to Everyone.
