Born in Vučitrn on 6 June 1920.
Having graduated from Grammar School in Novi Sad (1939), she studied at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Belgrade with professors Sreten Stojanović, Toma Rosandić and Ilija Kolarević. She went to Prague for specialization (1956). Member of ULUS since 1949. Having finished her studies, returned to Novi Sad and worked as teacher of sculpture and ceramics at the Advanced School of Pedagogy (1953-76). She has been working as independent artist in Belgrade since 1976. Her first exhibition was mounted in 1949.  She had nine one-man shows (Novi Sad, Sombor, Belgrade…), and took part in about 100 national and international group exhibitions (Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Libya  and Romania). She also had a retrospective at the Yugoslav Army Culture Club in Belgrade (1985).
Her oeuvre includes 20 busts of famous people that are placed in exterior and interior in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Zrenjanin, Novo Miloševo, Sombor, Kikinda, Elemir and Vršac. Her sculptures of Milka Marković, Draga Spasić, Milka Grgurova, Dimitrije Ružić, Kosta Trifković and Jovan Sterija Popović are placed around the building of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad.
Awards: Award of the Art Colony in Ečka (1962); Zlatno dleto ('Golden Chisel', ULUS Award, 1965).

 
9. The labyrinthine knot made of bends and twists, channels, backwaters, sandbanks. Nothing is permanent, there are no rules; depth is changeable, sandbanks unforeseeable, naked river islets scattered at random. In front of her, the river course keeps branching for at least three or four times. Low-blowing wind strikes with sudden whirls and tears the sails apart.
