Self-Portrait

15. Jednom je video visoke ljude, verovatno dvospolne, uvijene u kožu. Imali su široka lica, 15. Once he saw tall people, probably hermaphrodites, wrapped in leather. They had wide faces, red coloured, yellow circles around eyes, and on their cheeks there were two heart-shaped spots. Hair short and white.  In one sip, they could drink a bucket of water; they could put half a basket of melba toast in their mouth at once.  They ate live rats.
16. Having seen him, they started a wild run. Neither mild shimmer of bellflowers, nor colourful handkerchief he waved with, could stop them. For this reason, on the other bank, there lived people not taller than a foot; their ears were as big as they were – when they slept, they put one ear below and the other one above, to cover them. They worshiped the rain and prayed below the giant stonemade baby statue, or a winged doll.
17. The Statue stands on a rectangular pedestal. One side is full of plastic images, he named it Thetrum mundi: two large dogs and a small one (the divinity of the dark). A firebird. Pale-looking girl with big eyes and naked breast. A tall, bent man with horns. A big lizard getting lost in a crowd of small reptiles.
