Architect
(Sarajevo, 1940 – Novi Sad, 1991)
He passed all the exams at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade by 1968, gained practical experience in the studios of M. Pantović, B. Novaković and R. Radović, in the period from 1967 to 1969. At the same time, he contributed to the magazines Arhitektura and Urbanizam.
Professionally, he specialized in the architecture of tourist facilities, memorial architecture, interior and design. He is the author of more than 200 architectural designs of hotels, motels, restaurants, residential buildings, fair-site halls and villas. Of the last-mentioned (materialized) projects, noteworthy are: HQ building of AIK Agrobačka Co. in Bačka Topola, and the interiors of Jugobanka branch offices in Novi Sad, Gložan, Vršac, Kljaićevo and Bačka Topola.
He won about ten awards for spatial and memorial architecture, many of which are from the former republics of Yugoslavia. One of the important awards is the prize at Yugoslav contest for the general design of the Đura Đaković Memorial Square and monument in Sarajevo (1972).

One should be blind, blind or too common, to fail to realize that the Fortress, with its watchtowers, is oriented not only Wesward, Easwardt, Northward and Southward, but also - Heavenward. Heavenly events are reflected on the Earth; likewise, the Fortress is mirrored in the Holy Danube. The stargazer who used to inhabi the Fortress experienced the place as a Planetarium – the mirror of the Divine Presence. And they knew how immeasurably small man is in relation to the Grand Fortress, not to mention the relation to Heaven. The Great Stargazer, Dragan Kiridžić, read on the Heavenly Map the truth according to which people mystify both science and art. Of course, these people are ignorant. They keep their crafts secret because this "discovery has to be saved". However, thousands of times, it was written in the stars and hearts of those devoted to the Fortress, these things – secrets – were found and touched, discovered. Some have only drunk from the source;others would merely pass by, because they were searching for something else.
