MAURITS Ferenc
Painter, graphic designer
Born in 1945 in Novi Sad.
Attended Secondary School of Applied Arts in Novi Sad. His occupation is painting, graphic design and book illustration and design. He has received many awards at national and international exhibitions, as well as at book fairs for book design. Also writes poetry. His published books: Crveni Frankeštajn (Red Frankenstein) (poems, drawings), 1970; Telep (poems), 1975; Minijaturna galerija (Miniature Gallery, poems), 1982 and Balkanska mapa (The Balkan Map, monograph), 1997.
Exhibited at a number of group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
One-man exhibitions: Subotica (4), Belgrade (3), Novi Sad (6), Priština, Zagreb (2), Hungarian towns of Baja, Budapest (2), Vesprem, Györ, Szeged (2), Keczkemet (2), and Cluj, Romania.
