She finished Secondary School of Applied Arts in Novi Sad. Her pursuit was related to clothes: design of work and fashion clothes, theatre and TV costume design, stage costume design, one-of-a kind clothes, silk screening, clothing studies.
She continuously exhibited at one-man and group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
Individual exhibitions: Novi Sad (1971, 1974, 1976, 1979, 1983, 1984, 1988, 1998, 1999), Zagreb, Kula, Ruma.

Homage to Chekhov, while inspired, retro style
| Elevation, the first gate – she is here. Anamarija Mihajlović knew that the fortification plan started from this point. She would become overwhelmed with beauty of that landscape, as by a conditioned reflex. On the first elevation, the midway plateau, Hornverk, where horses were kept long ago. In the Chinese year of the horse, 2002, she was collecting tracks of mystical signs and analogies of the monolithic Rock, which, just here, directs the flow of the Danube to the North, shrinking it into a gorge. Standing on the plateau, like Antaeus, on the elevation, closer to the firmament, Anamarija could see Čot, Bač and Titel Hill. Collared doves, blackbirds, skylarks, hopoes - they nest here. Here, the wind makes a pirouette, gently wrapping it with muslin. Here, Anamarija breathed with full lungs, like a deep breath of relief. Here, she used to forgive the human vanity. The Augurs chose this place according to the flight of birds, drawing with a stick a circle above them. Here, Anamarija was sure, in some other dimension, existed a church with a high gothic tower immersing into the sky, with its verticality, the reflection of which plunged into the monolith. Or a broad amphitheatre where people meet and rejoice. When she was alone, listening attentively, she could hear the Truth that the choir confided to the trees, and the wind transmitters distributed: just listen carefully, open your soul and be worthy of the truth; just listen and you will understand that the truth is in essence, Beauty. |
