| It is well known that one of the great heroes of the Fortress is Maestro Miroslav Antić. It is well known that heroes do not think only about themselves, but, on the contrary, about others, who are also such big heroes. That is the reason why Miroslav Antić pronounced the following words about Mića Mihajlović: … It is still him, playful in drawing, cunning in composition, and clairvoyant in envisaging the impossible, and skillful in playing and violent in colour, but now, he is slowly peeling off layer after layer, his azure composition, as if he had reached the last mucous membrane that divides him from curiosity. He does not paint a painting anymore, he rather conceives it. Some people may ask why umbra prevails in the basic spectrum of his summer perception of the world. It is definitely not a new phase, the dark phase of Mihajlović, it is simply the heat this June, July and August have abundantly carried to the Fortress, suffocating us up there, near the sky, with its warmth and loneliness. The large, glowing summer, like in fever, said – not with wide breaths, but swallowed with wide sips, lapped up. On each of these canvases, I can warm up my hands, my forehead and my sight. You should be careful with frames. One day, they could get inflamed by new fires of Mihajlović! |
