MILOVANOVIĆ Dušan

(Negotin, 1919 – Belgrade, 2000)
Finished Secondary School of Applied Arts in Belgrade (Sculpture Dept.), Class of Prof. Mihailo Tomić (1939). From 1944, his sole puruit has been painting. Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Belgrade (1948) in the Class of Prof. Milo Milunović. Exhibited for the first time in Belgrade in 1950 and became member of ULUS. Held his first one-man show in Belgrade (1953). Between 1953-1978, worked as a teacher at the Advanced School of Pedagogy - Visual Arts Dept., in Novi Sad. First, he granted five of his graphics to the Modern Visual Arts Gallery in Novi Sad (1987), then (1992) another 37 paintings and 15 drawings. Took part in many group exhibitions in the country and abroad. In addition to painting, his output also includes mosaics, graphics and industrial graphics. His works are exhibited in all larger museums and galleries: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pančevo, Osijek, Tuzla, Kragujevac, Svetozarevo, Kruševac, Sombor, as well as in many private collections in the country and abroad.
One-man exhibitions: Belgrade (6), Novi Sad (9), Kruševac (3), Pančevo, Sarajevo (2), Osijek, Bečej, Topola, Kragujevac, Berlin, Sombor, Paraćin, Ćuprija, Svetozarevo, Kraljevo, Zemun and Čerević.
