| Peace. We have been wandering for thousands of years in search of the Sun. Unexpectedly, from an angle of the existence, out of the darkness, there appear Copernicus and Galileo, Kepler and Newton, Einstein and Karalyev. They are calling us, passing by. They are far away, and their grotesque echo silently submerges into soft tissue of new centuries. What are they telling us? Maybe it is not known, but we know that the painting Miodrag Miša Nedeljković talked about is the Painting with deep symbols and cosmic meaning. It is associative and intellectual, charged with painful search for answer to our personal and collective longing, a cry of our disagreement and non-reconciliation with our own or someone else's intellectual wound that hurts and humiliates. She is neither a whore nor a courtesan: she does not offer joy – she warns. She is the reality we cannot see, but only perceive by immersing ourselves into its astral soul (importance of the warning and curse). The Painting Miša Nedeljković has accepted is a poetical and spontaneous flow and extra sensual ability of shaping one's own and others' thoughts, experiences, dreams and reason. The sign and answer to the universal problem of magnitude, uniquely different from Other paintings and greatly dependent on the quantity of god-blessed star dust that has, by Heaven's mercy, covered the Artist. |
