(Sremska Mitrovica, 1912 – Novi Sad, 1988)
He finished the Art College in Belgrade (Teaching Dept. and standard academic courses) in 1938 (with professors Beta Vukanović, Ljubomir Ivanović, Ivan Radović). Was member of the Desetorica/'The Ten' Group. For many years held the post of the director of the Matica Srpska Gallery, and worked as professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He was one of the founders of art colonies in Vojvodina. In addition to painting, he also pursued graphics and drawing. Was member of Vojvodina's Academy of Sciences and Arts - VANU.
Exhibited at many group exhibitions in the country and abroad (Sofia, Capetown, Leningrad, Moscow, Kiev, Ottawa, Montreal, Venice, Milan, Roma, Tokyo, Osaka, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Brussels, Athens, Rio de Janeiro, Alexandria, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Prague, Düsseldorf, Budapest, Karakas, Edinburgh, Leads, Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Colombo, Krayova, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Timisoara, Modena, Wroclaw, Paris…)

27. A sand-clock, fixed to the main mast – he had to turn it upside down each eight hours – had stopped; sand had stopped, frozen, and  sand grains, caught in the moment of flow, were creating a thin line connecting sand from the upper and the lower part.
28. He was not even terrified, and that is what wondered him the most – if his lethargy could boast of such a strong feeling at all – as if such things happened to him everyday. He was crucified between the Heaven and the Earth, in the state of absolute stillness of everything, like in a tri-dimensional image that reproduces nature realistically, in proportion 1:1.
