Even the blind artist of the word could feel horror in front of the mirrors in shine: "not only before the crystal which you cannot enter, in which the uninhabitable space of the impossible is closed, where reflections begin and end".  The windows and doorways of the Fortress - scattered in mystical sequence through the space so that the meaning of the arrangement remains hidden for mortals – the crystals coated with patina: mirrors which you can enter. The world behind them is not the same - Borislava Nikolovski was sure. Behind, those who are allowed to enter can see that books are read from right to left, mouth approaches the food in the hand, and heroes discover, just like the immortal Claudius did long ago,  that  they are but somebody's shadow. Just like the blind artist of words, Borislava knew that the Creator made the nights "that had borne our dreams, and made the mirror shapes so that man could know that he as well is but a shadow and vanity, and  forever so".
