NONIN ŠĆEPANOVIĆ Sonja
Born in Novi Sad in 1957.
Considering that her wish to become a fashion designer lasted from her childhood until the secondary school, she finished "Bogdan Šuput" Secondary School of Art and Design – Textile and Fashion Design Dept. However, as she used to spend much time with her parents visiting monasteries and in the studio at the Petrovaradin Fortress, watching her father working, she came to love painting and conservation, so she finished the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad – Painting Department. After that, she worked for seven years as costume designer for TV Novi Sad, and in 1987, she got employed by the Vojvodina Museum as conservator of painted material. She has always been attracted to applied and fine arts, creation of clothing and various items made of leather and pearls, painting, drawing...
Member of UPIDIV and Likovni krug/Art Circle.
Her works have been displyed at many individual and group exhibitions.
