PETRIĆ Branislav
Born in 1969 in Zemun.
Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1983. In 1984, became member of ULUV. In 1985, he started working with “EMISAO” Group. In the period from 1984 to 1991, he lived and worked on the Petrovaradin Fortress as an independent artist, then moved to Italy where he still lives. Since 1994, has been co-working with Staniša Dautović.
In the field of visual arts, he explores in various disciplines. Mostly co-works with artists from the fields of music and theatre.
Exhibited at many one-man shows in about 20 countries worldwide.

Branislav Petrić woke up that morning, in September 1988, and opened the door. There was a dog looking at him. In front of the door, the dog was standing proudly, lame, with the eyes ready to meet his eyes. He said, he had kept silent all his life to sing this song: "Today, the morning smells of yet another day, our lives have mixed up for a moment. I'm leaving now, never to meet you again, for my bosses are from America." |
