ŠEŠLIJA Vladislav
Born in 1965 in Zrenjanin.
Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Class of Prof. Milan Blanuša, in 1994.
Became the member of SULUV in 1994, of Likovni krug/Art Circle and the Seven Dwarfs Group.
He exhibited at more than 70 group and 15 one-man shows.
Awards: LANS, Novi Sad (1988); the 7th Biennial of Yugoslav Student Drawing, Belgrade (1993); Art Colony of the Danubian Countries, Sremski Karlovci (1998).

In the times that have been and in the times that will be, because, when we talk about the Fortress, time is always One at Any Moment, different Odd Fellows and Love Fellows dwelt on the Lower Ludwig Bastion, beside the Clock Tower, in the Gunpowder Magazine, at the Cavalier, at the Parade Square beside the Cannon Hangars and Stables, in the underground Military Galleries, in the military casemate... Living on the Fortress, Vladislav Šešlija has felt the influence of all. From time to time, even he himself cannot tell whether he belongs to the energy of Odd Fellows or Love Fellows. However, what he knows for sure is: he wants the Sun and God to help Love get established at the Fortress. |
