In every immeasurable moment of eternal time, the Fortress lasts, breathing along with its (mortal?) inhabitants who replace each other through times that come and go.  Its granite body does not seem to be conditioned with fates of the mortals. However, hasn't it been created by the mortals? Aren’t the mortals those who give the sense to the Fortress with their creative activity? Isn't the Fortress remembered also after those people who knew how to give sense to it with their discovering the essence of everlasting beauty and giving the sense to their lives? Jovan Soldatović was one of the pioneers of the new times, who managed to direct the Fortress towards harmonized streams of Beauty and to turn this military fortification  into a giant sculpture symbolizing the universal Peace.
