Graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts, Interior Architecture Dept., in 1951 in Belgrade, Class of Prof. Đorđe Klekić. Received a master's degree at the same faculty in 1974.
Became member of ULUS in 1952. He was one of the founders of ULUPUS (Association of Applied Artsists of Serbia). After that, he moved to Novi Sad to work as a teacher at the Secondary School of Applied Arts. He initiated the acceptance of the first five members from Vojvodina to ULUPUS. Then, on 25 May 1957, he organized the Founding Assembly on which the ULUPUS Vojvodina Branch was established. He was elected the first President (1957-1961). In 1964, the Vojvodina Branch, with its 48 members, upon the decision of Association of Applied Artsists and Designers of Yugoslavia, was transformed into a separate, seventh, UPIDIV Association. In the period 1981-1984, he was the President of UPIDIV. He also worked for Novi Sad Fair as the director of Technical Department, then for “Progresbiro” marketing company, Novi Sad, also as director. In 1963, he designed newsstands for Duvan/'Tobacco' company, suitable for urban areas (they were placed in all large cities of Serbia). The newsstands were among the first exhibits of small urban designed outdoors items.
Awards and recognitions: The first prize for the design of Yugoslav Exhibition Space at International Fair of Economy and Tourism in Chicago, Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce (1950); Silver Medal and a Special Diploma, Zrenjanin (1958); Zlatna forma/Golden Form, Novi Sad (1970); UPIDIV Diploma, Novi Sad (1974).
On the main wall of his studio, at the Petrovaradin Fortress, you could read this inscription: Every half of the century – the stupid begin to talk, the clever become silent – and scoundrels get rich.

| 36. Everything was mostly deserted and empty. Only in one room, in the corner, he found a few items made of clay. Mostly dishes, and all surfaces were covered with endless multitude of identical dots. On the very top, there was a huge howitzer, fixed on the gun carriage made of cast iron. |
