Born in Čurug, Vojvodina in 1960.
Graduated from the Academy of Arts - Painting Department in Novi Sad, in 1986. Specialized in graphics at Vysoka skola vytvanych umeni, Bratislava, Slovakia, Class of Prof. Albin Brunovski (1989/1990).
Became member of the EMISAO Group in 1985, of Likovni krug/Art Circle in 1992, and of Maison des Artistes, Paris, France, in 1996.
Has staged 28 one-man shows and 170 group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
Recipient of 6 national awards.

The Fortress: perfect and finished FORM. Savannah. (Drought time.) Awaiting. The Flood! Smell of the savannah after rain: primeval thought in its embryo, between dream and reality. CLEAN. Insufficiently closed circle between birth and death. No contact. The story of the Passage (the state) is the memory. INNOCENT. Astral arched ceiling of the (Fortress) cell prevents our thoughts from running away from the canvas. Searching for the untouchable and elusive. Snow. Innocent paths, untrodden. The City is sleeping. Lights stretching lazily over the water. Sense of divine. Love and the God given role of presenting with beauty (experience is of no use). The cycle of endless repetition and consciousness about the existence. THE MESSAGE. |
