| Endless flow of the quiet-rough Danube, while always new waves splash against the rocks at the foothills of the Fortress: unstoppable Time composed of millions of different moments (and pictures). In the waking hour, Vojislav Terzić tried to stop one of these moments, to capture it in a picture that would echo with wisdom inside him (and inside You). He failed. Hours later, he was watching the Danube from the Fortress, grateful to the river because it was so unstoppably eternal and because it beat him, with a friendly smile, in his frantic wish to stop both himself and time. That is how it was in his childhood... Maybe for this reason, like in a Scheherazade story, Vojislav Terzić moved all these dear memories, from unfinished paintings onto his fairy-tale-like packaging, and kept sending them for years all over the world, nicely packed and happy, as beautiful surprises for whoever would open them out of need or out of sheer curiosity. |
