Vera Zarić was born in 1948 in Belgrade.
She graduated from Academy of Visual Arts in Belgrade in 1971, the completed postgraduate studies there in the Class of Prof. Zoran Petrović (1973). Became member of ULUS, and later of ULUV.
She lives and works in Novi Sad.
Individual exhibitions: Novi Sad (13), Belgrade (4), Zrenjanin (2), Pirot, Niš, Split, Skopje, Sremski Karlovci, Sremska Mitrovica, Subotica, Vršac, Neuhausen, Paris.

Long ago, there was, the Tower of Babel built to reach the Sky and to gather all languages of the world. The Microcosm. A predecessor of Alephs that was comprising in itself everything and making it possible for everything and everyone to be accessible at the same moment, regardless of dimensions of space and time. The Tower fell down. The Fortress is made for those more sophisticated and more sober: it is focused on colour and arabesque, and its contact with the Sky in spiritual, at least until the appearance of possibility, which is going to happen for sure, in some of the times to come. And, contact with all points of the world is made by Maestros. Using colour and arabesque, Maestra Vera Zarić, makes the contact with Byzantium, Persia, China and Japan. The Byzantine art because of unique scenery and refined landscapes. Persia, because of the richness of arabesque. China and Japan have disclosed new horizons in watching and experiencing of the space and introduced new techniques, such as silk screening. Vera's artistic expression and technique: how to achieve impression of the space that is not the Renaissance one and the later understanding of the perspective. Initial impulses: objects made of glass, metal or porcelain, paintings showing buildings and space of old cities, interiors of halls and churches.
