Born in Novi Sad on 26 March 1978.
Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Currently, she is a postgraduate student of graphic design. Since 2000, she has worked as an assistant at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. She interests lie in the field of new media – web design, computer graphics, modern art.
Started exhibiting her works in 1997. So far, held five indivudual exhibitions and particpated in several group ones. From the sequence Body Works
| For a noncom-officer canteent, a square shaped hunting lodge, with arcades on two sides is the ideal form. For underground military galleries, ideal construction skill is manifested in an intelligent utilization of warm lime, sand and bricks. For Joseph Bastion, the art of warfare includes the possibility to crossfire the enemy. According to Marija Zirojević, everything is a matter of particular moment, and everything acquires the colour and form of her experience. Although unknown, the future will acquire much of her waiting style. Marija has to connect successfully the moments that will transform the timeline of the present into duration (it requires the swing of the spirit, the change of the state): art is authenticity and creativity, a myriad of dispersed objects shrunk into a gram (of something) real, like inflection of the light through a prism, passing through the focus and its colourful reflection in our eyes. |
